Sully recalls fond memories before the Mac’s last season

Alfred A. McKethan Stadium is affectionately known as the Mac and the place where a lot of very fond memories have happened through the years, will come to an end at the conclusion of the 2020 baseball season. Florida head coach Kevin O’Sullivan has had more than his fair share of the memories and talks about them in this video.

O’Sullivan’s face certainly lights up when he talks about what is in store for Florida Baseball when they get to unveil the new stadium for the 2021 season complete with new locker rooms, batting cages, meeting rooms, and everything they would ever need in a new joint.

But he also had a big ole smile on his face when he recalled several of the greatest moments in Florida Baseball history under his watch. It’s a history that includes a National Championship, five SEC Championships, a school record 12 consecutive regional appearances, two National Coach of the Year seasons, and three SEC Coach of the Year seasons.

O’Sullivan talks about just some of the huge moments from Austin Langworthy, Tommy Toledo, Alex Faedo, Jonathan India, Preston Tucker, and his first game as the coach at Florida in the video above.
