Marvel comic artist set to visit the Cheboygan Area Public Library – News – Cheboygan Daily Tribune – Cheboygan, MI


Zip! KaBOOM! Wham! Be sure to make it into the Cheboygan Area Public Library to check out the Cheboygan Comic Expo! The walk-through exhibit is open all day, every day during Library hours and is filled with Marvel and DC superhero posters, Mario characters, a Star Wars display, the Tardis from Doctor Who and more. There are also lots of board games to play with friends and a life-size Pac-Man course. The exhibit is free to enjoy for all and will be open until Feb. 25.

Other events still to come include a double-feature showing of “Wreck-It-Ralph” and “Wreck-It-Ralph Breaks the Internet.” The showings of these two movies will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 20. The event is free, everyone is welcome, and popcorn and drinks will be provided.

Another fun event will take advantage of our beautiful Northern Michigan snow. Come build a “Snow-Hero” snowman with us. This snowman building contest event will take place in the Children’s Garden on the west side of the Library at noon on Saturday, Feb. 22. Capes, masks and carrot supplies will be provided for the event. Also, hot chocolate and snacks will be available inside after the event to help participants warm up.
