Quilts, the Iditarod and baseball — all happening at the Library this March – News – Cheboygan Daily Tribune – Cheboygan, MI

Beautiful quilts of all colors and designs have been marching into the Cheboygan Area Public Library for the 11th annual community Quilt Show! Seventy-five plus quilts will be on display during library hours the entire month of March. The gallery on the lower level of the Library is where the main display will be but there will be beautiful quilts displayed on the Library’s main level as well. The Quilt Show is free to attend and open to all.

The 2020 Iditarod dogsled race is set to start at on March 7. The race starts in Anchorage, Alaska and the Cheboygan Area Public Library will be showing a live-stream of “The Great Race” as mushers speed out of Anchorage at 10 a.m. Following that, at 11 a.m., special guest Kim Darst of Husky Haven Kennels in the Upper Peninsula will be sharing her experience training, qualifying, and running in the 2009 Iditarod. This event is free and open to all.
