- The Youngstown State baseball team (7-6) will play its home opener on Tuesday at 3 p.m. against Bowling Green (1-11) at Eastwood Field. The Penguins will then begin Horizon League play on Friday at 3 p.m. with the start of a three-game series at Northern Kentucky (0-16).
- After opening their series on Friday afternoon, the Penguins and Norse will proceed to play at 1 p.m. on Saturday and at Noon on Sunday.
